Based in the beautiful, historic city of Chester, The Soap Folk offers a range of handmade natural soaps made using the traditional cold process method.  We use natural vegetable oils and our products do not contain synthetic additives such as SLS or  parabens. Our soaps  contain NO palm oil and are all fragranced using only essential oils.  Most are made with natural colourings such as turmeric or are left their natural colour.  Some colours are very difficult to obtain with natural ingredients so in these cases safe colours are added in minimal amounts.

All of our natural handmade soaps are made in small batches, and cut by hand so each bar is unique.  Some contain botanicals such as poppy seeds and calendula flowers and the lavender used in the Lavender & Tea Tree soap is actually from our own garden! 

All our products have been safety assessed to UK and EU regulations.

We use minimal packaging which is all recyclable.

Just a quick note to say that your tropical soap definately gets a huge thumbs up from me!  Only one of the soaps has made it into some Christmas wrapping paper.  I've kept two for myself.  I'll definately be ordering some more when these are finished! - Dan, Cheshire
